The smaller the incision, the easier the recovery and (usually) the lower the risk. Minimally invasive (laparoscopic)surgery has revolutionized general surgery.

In any type of major surgery, women's natural hormonal cycles are altered in response to the tons of growth and healing hormones our body makes. Depends.: Everyone heals at a different rate. Seven wks seems sufficient time for you to slowly return to your previous activities, but to be safe see your surgeon for a post op exam to clear you
