Yes and no: You need to check with your surgeon to see if its ok. Most surgeons advocate some massage after surgery but it depends on where the fat was placed and how.

Short term: You will definitely have some short term facial swelling after fat transfer.  This will resolve after a couple of weeks, but may require up to three months for complete resolution.  Occasionally, those with significant weight gain will notice weight gain in the fat transferred areas.

Fat : Fat transfer is a great treatment to improve facial volume loss. It is most successful when placed more diffusely rather than only in a certain crease or line.

With proper technique sagging facial skin can be lifted naturally, improving your appearance.

i had fat added to the end of my chin in a fat transfer and now my chin looks too long/high for my face. is it possible to remove/sculpt that fat?

Yes: You should return to see whoever performed the fat transfer if possible.  It should be relatively simple to sculpt the fat or remove any excess.  If you had it done  
recently, part of the problem could be swelling that will resolve, so don't move too quickly!

PRP?: As far as I know PRP stands for Platlet Rich Plasma.Even though PRP got lot of publicity,but as far as I know it's use is mainly in Orthopedic in healing of Tendon Injuries,Osteoarthritis naturally.It will not help in facial fat loss.Consult a cosmetic Dermatologist.Fat can be taken out out from one part of your body and injected where there is fat loss and it is not risky as it is your own fat

Check with surgeon: I would check with your plastic surgeon. They will have a good idea of the swelling and bruising. There is a supplement that some of my colleagues have used called arnica montana which they feel reduces swelling and bruising significantly after surgery. Check with your doctor first. You never never want to take anything your surgeon does not know about.

As : As a rule, you'll have swelling for 5-7 days. Ice for the first 2-3 days and then heat afterwards may decrease this time.

i have had tummy tuck, fat transfer, lipo, and breast augmentation june 2nd 2017. i am experiencing extreme leg pain - soreness, abdominal discomfort and pain shooting down the leg.  i was only prescribed supradol which i no longer have for the pain.
