As : As a rule, you'll have swelling for 5-7 days. Ice for the first 2-3 days and then heat afterwards may decrease this time.

After : After fat transfer there is almost no swelling in the area where the fat is placed. If there some minor swelling, it is usually gone in a few weeks. We find that its the area of the fat harvest or liposuction that stays swollen for up to 3-6 months. Good luck from nyc. For more info visit www.Drgrossman.Com.

Up To 6 Weeks: Obviously swelling varies greatly by procedure, patient, and post-op instruction care, but swelling form a fat transfer procedure should subside within six weeks.
