: More details are needed to address your health specifically. In general, the stomach needs a month to health, then again if the irritant continues, smoking, alcohol, ibuprofen, sleep apnea, late-night eating then the healing slows down, like putting salt on a wound.

Ask GI: Depending on how severe your gastritis and duodenitis are and if they have healed completely.  I would ask your GI specialist what his opinion would be before taking NSAIDs.  Use tylenol (acetaminophen) until then.

Probably: Gastric ulcer is caused mainly by NSAIDS or H pylori. A PPI such as omeprazol and stopping the offending drug is the main treatment that takes care of it most of the time. Thats why Gastroenterologists prefer to repeat the endoscopy later to confirm resolution. Rarely, its not fixed and then you will more specialized treatment. For specifics, follow your doctor's recommendations.

The first part: is quite straight-forward. GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) with inflammation of the lower 3rd of the esophagus, antrum (lower) stomach and first part of small intestine (duodenum) was found. I believe PAN 40 is pantoprazole 40 mg, a proton-pump inhibitor. Don't know about PAN L and PAN MPS. Moderately serious to have inflammation in all 3 sites;should heal with proper treatment of 6-8 weeks

*bacterial infection (often by helicobacter pylori)
*gastroesophageal reflux disease
*viral infection
*nsaids

treatment is aimed at removing the irritant or infection. Helicobacter pylori infection is usually treated with antibiotics.

Inflammation: Duodenitis means inflammation of the first part of the small intestine, where your stomach empties.  This is common and can be acid related, due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, etc), infection or celiac disease to name  a few.

IBS: Irritable bowel syndrome have no inflammation. Duodenitis means inflammation of duodenum.  There should be another cause for the duodenitis.

Depends.: I presume your diagnosis of erythematous duodenitis was made at upper endoscopy. How to treat it depends on what the cause is.. Your G.I. doctor probably made biopsies, which may give a cause. He will work out with you watch the treatment should be, based on those findings. Good luck.
