fear-induced labor i am writing a fiction book and was wondering if fear can induce labor in a woman who is almost ready to give birth anyway?

Extreme : Extreme stress can cause labor, even preterm labor.  It would have to be pretty bad fear, but i think it sounds plausible for a book.

i have covid induced pneumonia in both lungs. i am international right now and i don't have access to good care at a hospital. i would be better off not going to the hospital in this country than going to one.

what should i do to care for myself?

: Covid induced Pnuemonia in a young otherwise healthy individual requires prescription antibiotics, monitoring of oxygen levels and occasionally oxygen supplementation. There is very little chance that even a less than standard international hospital could botch those. You could see a private Dr who can prescribe the antibiotics. It all depends on the severity of your symptoms.

i was diagnosed with a partially collaped lung and pneumonia 2 months ago and still have chest pain and difficulty breathing, is this normal?

Possibly yes: I imagine the collapsed lung re-expanded to normal already but another episode of collapse may occur causing persistent symptoms.  After an episode of pneumonia you can feel persistent symptoms of difficulty of breathing.  If there is underlying asthma or cystic fibrosis then persistent symptoms may occur. Asthma and cystic fibrosis predispose to collapsed lungs and pneumonia.

Yes: Collapsed lung or atelectasis is sometimes interchangeably used with consolidation in radiology reports; its not exactly the same thing but may look similar. If you dont have symptoms of infection, its quite possibly you have some collpased lung tissue (atelectasis) rather than phlegm and inflammatory cells actually filling the lung tissue like you would in pneumonia.

No: Pneumonia and a collapsed lung have a different appearance on xray. Misinterpretation unlikely.

i recently had pneumonia. i also have congestive heart failure (diastolic) and copd. i currently am extremely short of breath. xrays show i have partially collapsed lungs due to fluid. i am taking lasix every day. how else can i reinflate my lun?

: That combination of pneumonia,CHF,COPD, bilateral pleural effusions&amp; partially collapsed lungs warrant in hospital care. It appears to me that removal of large pleural fluid by strong doses of diuretics &amp; possible tapping of the chest cavities are mandatory in your treatment. It seems that the CHF is the major factor here. Proceed to the emergency room if you can't reach your MD for instructions.

Unlikely: Though a chest xray is not the most reliable test for a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) it is pretty good. If there is a viral pneumonia on xray that could cause your symptoms.
