Hyper coagulation : Please seek the care of an Obstetrician immediately. Given your history you would be deemed a high risk and will need good medical management throughout. The Ecotrin is probably not sufficient and, at a minimum, you will need prophylactic anticoagulation with Heparin or Lovenox.

Possibly quickly: We often see pulmonary emboli (clots to the lungs) on the initial ct scan when patients arrive in the er. Sometimes, if you have an injury that causes you to not walk well, the clot can develop over days to weeks.

Paradoxical embolus: is an uncommon cause of embolic stroke. Straining on the toilet can create the pressure gradient necessary for the clot to cross from the right to the left side of the heart through a patent foramen ovale. The clot may take days to weeks to build up in the leg vein prior to this.

More info needed: Blood clots in veins are treated with different types of anticoagulants than blood clots in arteries. To make matters more confusing, some people refer to a hematoma (a collection of blood outside of a vessel) as being a blood clot. No medicines are used to dissolve hematomas. So you need to discuss this with someone who understands exactly what the situation is.

Depends: It depends on where they are and their size. In general, the body disolves these clot or reduce their sizes so they do not  become serious even of they &quot;move&quot;. The chance of them dislodging exist even on blood thinners. However, blood thinners are the best we have to treat them nowadays. Filters are not indicated unless the person can not take blood thinners as they have their own complications..

Yes: depends on what medical conditions you have. You might be prone to develop clots,
have other risk factors- some are congenital.
Obesity, on birth control pills, inactivity, are some common risk factors.

None: Aspirin is not a good treatment for a deep venous thrombosis aka a blood clot in the leg. There area other medications that are better at getting the clot to resolve. Talk to your physician.
