Nystagmus??: With significant brain injuries or disease you may be describing actual nystagmus which are bilateral involuntary symmetric rapid small amplitude movements. Another possibility is eyelid myokymia. Needless to say, these are best addressed by your eye care physician to identify issues ; assess their impact.

Yes, but....: If you are having these issues, you should be in an icu.  This is serious.  Pupil changes from head injuries are likely a precursor to a fatal event.  If this is chronic, i rec a full neurological exam, then an eye exam by an md.

Traumatic brain inju: Prognosis after TBI depends on multiple factors.  MRI information can help guide prognosis as can PET flow studies.  Generally most clinicians consider a two year window for potential neurologic recovery.  Visual evoked potentials can also help prognosticate outcome. Many reasons: Could be a post-traumatic headache syndrome, but cannot rule out presentation of glaucoma, or even sphenoid or ethmoid sinusitis.  Unlikely to represent new brain complication.  Also, unlikely, possible giant cell arteritis, but get some blood testing with sed rate just to be safe.

This involves inflammation and swelling of the tissues (cells) in the brain. When brain cells swell they do not function normally. Which symptoms are caused all depends on where in the brain the cells are located. Other factors that increase brain pressure are bleeding & stroke.

No, : No, an adult could not injure their own brain by shaking it.  If you hit your head against something, it could injure it.  An individual could hurt someone elses's head (especially a child) by shaking that person, but you can't do it to yourself.
