Many reasons: Could be a post-traumatic headache syndrome, but cannot rule out presentation of glaucoma, or even sphenoid or ethmoid sinusitis. Unlikely to represent new brain complication. Also, unlikely, possible giant cell arteritis, but get some blood testing with sed rate just to be safe.
