Accepted Answer

Probably not: The only way i can see this happening is if you are not getting enough good nutrition, enough protein and minerals (like potassium, calcium  and magnesium), are too fatigued to exercise  and  loose muscle. So take care of your nutrition and exercise!

Liver pain: usually the liver doesn't cause pain. In the same area though, Right upper quadrant is the gallbladder which could be a problem. Usually back pain is not in the Right upper and where the liver is located

im a 51-year-old male. does oral prednisone affect the liver, kidneys or stomach? if yes, can you tell me how? i hurt my lower back (left side) muscles a few days ago and nothing is helping it. usually a 9-day course of oral prednisone cures it?

6th day taper: Please monitor your BP, during the course. After the 5th day, you may taper the dose to lessen side effects. Prednisone does have a number of side effects and the longer the course, the more likely you are to develop an adverse reaction.  An antacid may be used while on Prednisone to decrease gastritis.

i was half laying on the bed and suddenly i sneezed hard causing me to bend forward and it caused pain on the lower abdomen. is this normal? and will it cause any problem to pelvic muscles?

: This doesn't sound unhealthy or abnormal in any way. Nothing to worry about.

i had a 7lb tumor removed from my abdomen and the doc did muscle repair with permanent stitches will this cause problems with future pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

No.: A muscle cut for surgery and then repaired is not going to be as strong as one never operated upon.  So, with pregnancy the area of the incision could stretch and result in a hernia, but this would not cause any pregnancy issues or affect a baby in any way.

hello. i have a short pain (stab) in the pelvic muscle area at any unexpected emotion or noise. sometimes it also appears in the lower abdomen. it suddenly appeared about a month ago on anxiety background. may be a neurological problem?

: Does not sound like it. More likely from anxiety. Pl see your MD and get treated

Abdominal pain: Pain from muscle will completely relieve in certain positions, from colon it will remain.

Do not take it. : This is a steroid that can cause several problems. One of which is liver disease. I do not recommend taking the drug nor taking "liver protection pills' and I do not believe such a thing exist. You will feel better in the long run as not taking the pills and doing it the old fashion way. Diet , exercise and watch your fats.

Good idea...: to shoot for a goal of  2 pounds a week is very reasonable.  To be more aggressive than that may lead to muscle loss and water loss.  Weight lost too fast will tend to come on back fast.  Weight loss should not be result of just a diet, but a result of changing your lifestyle to be more healthy and well - this is the only lasting technique.  Be well!
