around my eyes almost like light bruising and fragile blood vessels. do i have a tumor in my head? my alt is in the 40s and my wbc is 3.00 everything else is normal. but the skin around my eyes look so sickly. please help?

Accepted Answer

: These are usually do to slow blood flow through your lids due to airborne allergies or lack of restorative sleep. If you are worried about something else go get an exam. Rare things are ....rare. The labs you quote provide no worthwhile information.

i had a sudden sharp headache on the left side of my head, above my left eye. what is concerning is that my left eye blood vessels bursted. ?

See eye doctor now: Have you had your eye pressure measured?  I think you need to see an ophthalmologist immediately to make sure that you don't have glaucoma which can lead to blindness if not promptly treated.  An alternate answer would be migraine which is of concern also if it occurs for the 1st time at your age.

Please repost: Please repost &amp; state what the neurologist had to say about your symptoms BESIDES about your eye blood vessels. That's only a TEENY tiny part of the whole picture. What did (s)he say about the whole picture, in other words, did (s)he give you a differential diagnosis of what your symptoms could be? If (s)he didn't, or went no farther than looking in your eyes, find another neurologist.

i have been having head shakiness and head tilting to left with left hear loses and smile go up on left three eye docs said no tumor but they said something is pushing on they vessels what could it be?

Parkinsons,: Head Shakiness goes along with the normal tremor of Parkinsons Disease.  The tilt to the lrft may also be the same or may be due to Torticollis.  Cervical Spinal MRI and possible medication adjustment might help.  The smile going up on the left side with hearing loss to the same reminds me of Bells Palsy or Ramsy Hunt Syndrome

Headache: You may have neuralgia involving the superficial nerve over the right eye but this wouldn't cause a ruptured vessel or subconjunctival hemorrhage. I recommend that you have an examination by your physician if headache persists and he/she will determine whether it's advisable to see an ophthalmologist for the subconjunctival hemorrhage which usually resolves without any specific treatment.

Need eye exam: When the eye is traumatized from inflammation, infection or even tumors the response is usually a red eye. Eyes look red because of dilated blood vessels. New blood vessels don't  form but the existing ones dilate in response to injury. The only way to know what is causing the redness is to take a good history and have a thorough eye exam to exclude things like uveitis (inflammation) or infection.

O: Cholesterol deposits in the cornea (an arcus) do not fade with cholesterol reduction.  Cholesterol does not coat retinal vessels.  It can only be seen if the total cholesterol is over 1000 (lipemia retinalis)  rarely a cholesterol plaque (hollenhort) can be visualized, but is usually an embolic phenomenon.

i have eye pain, and looks like blood vessels have burst in my eyes, right  when i wake up in the morning and later on it dosnt hurt. what is this?

Subconjunctival heme: A subconjunctival hemorrhage, depending on its size, can take up to 3 weeks or more to resolve. As long as it is improving and your vision is not affected, and you are not experiencing significant  pain, you can just follow it along. You may use some artificial tears for some slight irritation. You probably had rubbed your eye during sleep, which stretched and broke a blood vessel.

drank too much for 3yrs& noticed bloodvessels appearing on face/under eyes. stopped drinking entirely for a year& now have maybe 2-3 drinks, once/month. continued developing vessels on face, however &if i have 1-2 beers i will wake up with more. why?

Best see: a Dermatologist! It shoulnds like youmay have ACMNE ROSACEA which may be associated with alcohol use/abuse but may also occur in non-drinkers and is TREATABLE!
