Gynecologist: It would be prudent to see your gynecologist first just to make sure these symptoms are not due to early menopause. S/he may refer you to another specialist as may be appropriate, e.g., rheumatologist.

Steroid side effect: Hopefully only a couple of days maximum. If the symptoms progress or you have persistence, i would recommend seeing your doctor.

Bath: that is perfectly normal after having a hot bath and the capillaries in your face dilate and the redness appears

Do not think so: You can never say never, but this was probably not a seizure.  Seizures normally last 30-90 seconds.  They normally impair awareness, and people who have them do not remember how they felt.  A hot and red face often occurs with dilation of small blood vessels in the skin, but not normally a seizure.  Most seizures are best described by a witness.

can xanax (alprazolam) cause hot redness in face and flushing at first? 2 days, whole body felt hot flashy, but had no fever! will it go away after i quit meds?

Not common: But anything is possible especially if you have intolerance of certain medication. The only way to know is to stop it, wait a few days and then restart. If the same happens again, then you'll know what is the cause of your symptoms.

Not uncommon: Alcohol has a vasodilatory effect. It is possible you are allergic to the sulfites as well.

There are some very serious conditions that are associated with sudden alcohol intolerance.

Cannot diagnose: This cannot be evaluated via the internet. Suggest seeing your pcp and discussing this. If you have had small bowel tumor this may be carcinoid syndrome, but there are many other possibilities. See your doctor and hope you are well soon.

Have you had your: blood pressure checked during these episodes? You may find it quite high and this could be causing your symptoms. Otherwise, I'm not sure.
