Unlikely concern: Your Granulocyte numbers are slightly high . This can happen due to infections. You should give us the complete report of your CBC in order to give a more clear picture. If the WBC count is &gt;10,00 and you have no fever or recent infections, then I would be concerned and ask you to repeat your blood counts(CBC) and make sure that there is no further increase in your WBC counts.

i'm concerned with the % and count of my immature granulocytes. my percentage is 0.9 % and my count # is 0.08 k/mm3. it's been high for years so i know it's not just a bacterial infection i'm fighting. what do you think could be possible causes?

: Both values are close to normal. If it’s been at that level for years it’s probably just a meaningless variation from normal. Like driving on a highway, not everyone goes exactly 55 mph. If it’s gradually rising, check with your Hematologist

You could have one billion neutrophils (elevated) but only 10% of total White Cells (low, %, based on normal ranges), but 10% of one billion is sky high. We are always looking at relative numbers and absolute numbers. Relative numbers like % can be manipulated in various ways, good and bad, but absolute numbers are the nitty-gritty.

How low: Would need to see the whole report.If platelets also low would be pancytopenia.It would depend on how long the percentages are.Could be something such as iron defiency,renal problems,bone marrow issues.Too little information to express more of an opinion except may need more studies if significantly low.

No and it may be OK: Stress does not cause immature granulocytes in your blood
and 0.1% is not significant as long as you dont have any symtoms and probably ok.But i will suggest discuss with your doctor and get it repeated.

You're fine: Don't worry in the least about this. Different machines could young neutrophils differently, and reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside on either end.

Many causes: Anything from an infection to a serious blood disease to just a little bit of stress. I can triple my granulocyte count with a 20-minute cold shower as my neutrophils leave the walls of my blood vessels and enter my bloodstream to see what's happening. If the neutrophils are immature (left-shift) or look very activated (toxic granulation) there's likely to be an important infection.

Get HPV vaccine.
