TheTruthOnAbsolute : Percentages are relative numbers. You could have one billion neutrophils (elevated) but only 10% of total White Cells (low, %, based on normal ranges), but 10% of one billion is sky high. We are always looking at relative numbers and absolute numbers. Relative numbers like % can be manipulated in various ways, good and bad, but absolute numbers are the nitty-gritty.
