: I am not sure why the blood test was done, meaning inadequate information, however it is best not to treat laboratory value if you are well and no inflammatory marker of significance. Fibrinogen is a clotting factor not a disease protein why do you want to treat isolated elevated fibrinogen? Do you have abnormal menstrual flow may be what you could look at as a possible explanation.

Clots coming ; going: D-dimer is increased with breakdown of clots to crosslinked fibrin. Fibrinogen forms fibrin whose fibers become crosslinked to form a clot. So high fibrinogen infers clot formation, not breakdown, so d-dimer is inferred to be low.

Yes: The normal levels of fibrinogen range from about 150-400mg/dl.  There are normal circumstances in which the level may be higher, e.g., pregnancy.  Any  lab value needs to be interpreted in the context of other health issues and this value may not be associated with a disease.  Do consult the doctor who ordered the blood test.

Cause not effect: The high fibrinogen may well be the cause of the stroke rather than a result of the stroke and how long it lasts depends on why it is high. Hope he's doing well.

No: Cancer does not cause low plasma fibrinogen. It would be good idea to see a doctor for a complete evaluation. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

No: No it is not helpful in diagnosing sarcoidosis. Why suspect sarcoidosis when you have tuberculosis already?

i have been unable to lose weight even though i have increased my activity and eating healthier.  i had labs with high hs-crp, fibrinogen, insulin. and a few other symptoms. what should i do next?

Several things.: first, check there is not another condition.
Thyroid disease very rare; PCOS, more common and can make weight loss hard.
Then... diet diary to record Every Single Bite.
Then, a negative approach (here's where the problem is, here's a change in it) rather than a particular diet to follow generally is more effective.
Note: 4000 cal = 1 pound. exercise alone is not many calories.
