at my 6 week scan my dr found a subchorionic hematoma (2cm). it got bigger at 7 weeks (3cm), but now at 8 weeks it seems to be much smaller, but now theres a pool of blood moving out of my uterus and towards my fallopian tube. is this dangerous?

Pregnant/bleeding: A "subchorionic hematoma " is not uncommon with pregnancy ultrasound, and will generally resolve without problems. The accumulated blood from the hematoma will cause visible bleeding briefly, but is not a danger by itself to your pregnancy.

can a subchorionic hematoma have greater risk with a retroverted uterus?

Usually unrelated: A retroverted uterus shouldn't contribute to a miscarriage and management would be the same, expectant.  Good luck with your pregnancy.

i should be around 5 weeks pregnant my hcg levels went from 155 on sunday at 730 pm, to 277 on tuesday at 9 am, to 298 today (thursday) at 2 pm.. i had some spotting on tuesday and i also have a hematoma in my uterus, are my levels normal?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, in a normal pregnancy, HCG levels double every 2-3 days. You should consult your doctor for an assessment.    Wish you good health!

See answer: The presence of ultrasound-detected subchorionic hemorrhage (hematoma) increases risk of miscarriage, stillbirth, abruptio placentae, and preterm labor. Depending on your findings and md, may advise strict bed rest, refrain from lifting heavy objects, and avoid exercise. In most cases, you’ll be asked to avoid sexual intercourse (and masturbation?) until the hematoma dissolves and disappears.

ct scan with dye after having cryosurgery of cervix  due to severe pain. ruled out appendicitis. found a hematoma and rounded structure  in uterus ?

Postop infection: It sounds as if you may have a postoperative/post procedure infection. Speak with your doctor.

Possible: Rough sex can injure the genitals and result in pain. Take tylenol (acetaminophen) and if the pain is not resolved in a couple of days, see your doctor. Using lubricant like k-y jelly during sex may help. See this site for more information on this topic.

i have a uterine cavity 4cm hematoma since vag hysterectomy 8 weeks ago.  it keeps getting infected and i end up on iv abx. what can be done?

Antibiotics or surge: At this point, it would be continued antibiotics, or surgery to evacuate the hematoma.  A lot of surgeons would hesitate to reoperate if this can be taken care of by medications.

can a uterine cavity hematoma post vag hyst be dispersed with u/s or laser therapy or sucked out safely? sitting on top of vag vault.  very painful

Sometimes: Not with laser or ultrasound, but if they are persistent and causing pain, some surgeons will go back in and remove/evacuate the hematoma.

im 13 wks pregnant, had hematoma at 8 wks, was put on pelvic rest. 12wk ultrasound showed it was mostly absorbed. dr said i could resume all activity (sex, exercise). just masturbated & felt strong & unusual uterine cramp during orgasm. is that bad?

: Pregnant orgasm's usually produce strong uterine contractions(cramps). If you have concerns please contact your treating OB MD who is providing your present prenatal care.
