An : An injection of any sort in most parts of your body can result in a "bruise", a small amount of internal bleeding at the injection site. It will usually go away without any problems.

I don't know what dental procedure was performed on you, but the swelling could have been from the procedure or from the injection.

I did not understand your question: are you still swollen over 2 weeks later, or 2 weeks later they told you that you were allergic to the anesthetic? Either way, to answer your initial inquiry, yes, an injection can leave a small, transient bruise.

May be pressure: If you pressed your forehead against a hard surface, including your partner's forehead, it may have resulted in a bruise. If it resolves in a few days, there is no cause to be concerned.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

See surgeon now: Having new swelling and discomfort 3 weeks after any surgery is a sign that there is likely an infection.  You need to see your periodontist or surgeon who did the graft asap.

Time: A hematoma or bruise just needs time to get better.  You can use warm and cold compresses to help things along and ease pain, should there be some.

Dental?!? : Ticks don't have teeth! a "bruise" around a tick "bite" could be the initial inflammatory reaction from a deer tick that is infected with lyme disease. Not every bite results in you will develop lyme disease. Speak to your physician about the symptoms and current guidelines for treatment.

Bruise = bleeding: The bruise is from the breakdown of blood products when you bled from cutting the area with your teeth.  If you were diagnosed with a cyst, and the cyst itself did not rupture you will still need a follow-up and removal of the cyst if it was previously recommended.
