i keep hearing the blood whooshing in just my right ear and its getting worse its in time with my heart. i had brain aneurysm coiling 4 months ago?

See your doctor ....: Right away.  You may also need to see the doctor who did the aneurysm coiling.  This sound may relate to the procedure, or be caused by something else, but you need to know what is causing it and what, if anything to do about it.

Something to consider is carotid bulb dehiscence and or a high jugular bulb.  Make sure your old ct and MRI scans of the head are reviewed.

Pulsation: Nothing serious. You are feeling the flow of blood through the blood vessels located near your ears.

May be high bp: Check your blood pressure. Could also be hearing loss, may want to have hearing tested. Carotid artery runs very close to eardrum.

More info needed : Do you also feel an extra beat of your heart ain the chest in the same time? Do you have any dizziness or loss of hearing? Do you hear anything else besides the thumb such as whooshing sound or a beep? Do you suffer from chronic ear infections or chronic sinusitis?

i'm hearing my pulse in my right ear during my workout and when i get up to fast, and sometimes when i'm walking. what would cause this?

Nothing wrong: This is probably due to some inefficiencies in your right eustachian tube, and when there is a little negative pressure in the middle ear, you'd be more likely to hear your internal carotid artery pulsate, which is located just below the middle ear.  If your nose is also chronically stuffy - the cause of that may be causing the partial eustachian tube inefficiency.  Either way - not to worry.

immediately after an orgasm and only when i'm on my back, i hear and feel my pulse in my left ear, it goes away as fast as it arrived. is that normal?

Not to worry: You likely have some congestion in your eustacian tube (the potential space that connects your pharynx with your middle ear that "pops" when you go up a mountain or in an airplane. ) during orgasm, your BP and heart rate physiologically are increased which is normal and you can hear your pulse in your ear because you have reduced conductive hearing. The tympanic membrane or bones may contribute.

Normal: The carotid artery is anatomically located adjacent to the cochlea or inner ear organ.  You are aware of this pulsation.  Unfortunately, it is most commonly a normal physiological phenomenon.  However, rarely, at age 37, it can represent an abnormality.  The bottom line is that you are aware of an arterial pulsation of the large artery of the neck.  If you are otherwise asymptomatic, don't worry.
