Little: Vitamin B12 won't give you energy, unless you have a deficiency, which can cause anemia. This can be checked with a blood test.

Accepted Answer

The term is used: in the United States, but seemingly not as formally as in China where sub-health is a synonym. It attempts to describe a state of being neither healthy nor ill, but not feeling really well; not a precise condition.Symptoms include fatigue, chronic aches/pains, trouble sleeping nervousness, poor mood. Criteria (such as increased BMI, blood sugar, etc) have been developed/used principally in China.

i am a high school health science teacher and we are covering the respiratory system. i need to find out what conditions a bronchoconstrictrictor would be rx'd for.

None: Bronchoconstrictors reduce the lumen of the brochus and bronchioles.  These are not used clinically as they cause breathing problems.  
Bronchodilators open the airway and are commonly used for the treatment of asthma or emphysema.

This is a great: example of how many things in life, especially health, are not totally black or white in spite of applying a rigorous scientific method.Best evidence to date suggests that red wine contains substances,i.e. reservatrol that are healthy.Medical guidelines say 1 drink a day for men/2 for women is fine.Those who say "drink nothing" worry folks can't stop there and are at risk for alcoholism. Stay well

: I would think that long term distress can be a symptom of PTSD if the long term insult was in the past. Take care.

i will be volunteering at a mental health institute i have to receive cpi training what is that? i know its crisis prevention is that restraint?

CPI training: CPI training is used to help staff learn how to effectively defuse anxious, hostile, or violent behaviors as early as possible. It is designed to reduce harm to patients and staff. CPI is not always restraint techniques. The key word is "defuse". CPI training is a good idea for you if you are volunteering.

i'm considering buying the health and ancestry package from 23&me. on a likely scale from 1-10, how much of a scam is this for health planning?

Not sure: Hi, I don't know much about these DNA testing services so I can't provide an opinion.  I personally haven't created treatment plans for patients based on information from any of these types of tests, I only take a standard verbal family history to give insight to genetics of a patient.  Perhaps some other health tap doctors can weigh in.

It's all in the mind: Good health is a general sense of well being and freedom from illness, injury or pain. Health is often defined differently by doctors and patients.  I think it entirely possible to have many illnesses and injuries yet remain "healthy." I have seen many patients who refuse to become ill or sick despite severe adversity.  Health care providers love to see patients like that!

Below: Exercise every day,or at least 3 times a week,maintain a heathy weight eating less carbohydrates,less fried foods and more veggies and fruits,get at least 7 hours of sleep,drink more water,get a physical to check cholesterol blood pressure,etc.Practice common sense such as safe sex,wearing seat belts,etc.Get out and enjoy life-socialize because mental health is important.

Work leisure balance: depends on your age and back ground health and weather you have any medical conditions or on medications.
Generally speaking it is good that you take custody of your own health and lead a heathy lifestyle in terms of nutrition, and physical activity, to have regular checks with your doctor as advised to do. Also avoiding/ managing stress, have work / leisure balance, avoid illegal drugs
