: Stress certainly could cause most if not all these symptom, or make them worse. But stress alone seems unlikely. See your doctor to make sure nothing else is going on. Good luck.

Multiple causes: There are many problems which can cause pain that radiates straight through to the back. The classic ones are gallbladder pain, pancreatitis , and kidney problems. There are others also. If the pain persists, see your doctor to begin sorting this out. Good luck.

after endoscopy have mild chronic gastritis. taking meds and changed diet. much better. of course cheap on diet sometimes. couple of nights woke up with stomach pain and upset. is this gastritis also? after upset pain goes away shortly and back to sl?

: You don't mention how long you've been on dietary measur &amp; medications for the chronic gastritis or whether h pylori was present. I think you should notify your gastroenterologist, who knows your endoscopic findings,  of these nocturnal bouts of pain to determine whether they are part of the natural history of your mild chronic gastritis or whether another gasroscopy or other testing are advisable

: Treatment for GERD may be indicated. The swelling if persistent should be checked.
A CBC,diff, Mono test and ESR recommended. Avoid spicy foods and consider a probiotic, after discussing with your physician.

Controlled Substance: I believe that you need to find a doctor in the area that will meet your needs.  This may be an im doctor, but a chronic pain management doctor might be best.

i was prescribed oxycodone 5ml recently for my chronic pain. after taking one i experienced stomach pain radiating into chest and back. is this normal?

Could be: opioids like Oxycodone act on the gut, and can cause constipation, nausea, cramps.  Abdominal pain with radiation isn't common from one dose.  Could happen.  If it persists, get checked out.  I'm not a big fan of oxycodone for chronic pain, but it can be safe if used properly.  Chronic pain is best treated in a structured program that includes physical and behavioral therapies with medical care.

See a doctor : In someone your uncle's age it may be many things from a neurological to gastrointestinal to infectious or possibly cardiovascular issue. It is better that he gets checked by his doctor. It is unclear if this happened once or repeatedly in your uncle but a doctor would be able to review his medical history, current medications and examine him and narrow down the possible diagnoses. i once drank a shot of everclear vodka and had stomach pain for a few minutes afterwards that eventually subsided. should i be worried about any long term effects health wise from that?

Shot Pains: It appears that you suffered no ill consequences from that shot of vodka. If it was Everclear 190, it was 95% alcohol which is quite potent. The strength of the alcohol most probably caused your gastrointestinal distress.

: Your body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes. Then go to uptodate.com and pay to read all about anxiety, causes and treatment. It can be treated and maybe even stopped if cause is found. Then discuss with your Dr.

Gastritis: I wouldn't necessarily blame gastritis for your chronic pain. You can try an antacid medication such as zantac (ranitidine) or Pepcid and see if it helps. There can be other causes of upper abdominal pain such as acid reflux, ulcers, gallbladder, pancreas. Ibs.
