Likely a migraine: First, you need to figure out the real cause of your headache pain. It has been estimated that approximately 70% of migraine headaches overlie the sinuses and are triggered by changes in barometric pressure (e.g. diving). Rec.: see your orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation, diagnostic and treatment. Further investigation is only needed to determine the best treatment.

Migraine?: Probably more likely to be migraine related. See a neurologist. The international headache society doesn't even recognize the term sinus headache because other than with sinusitis there is no such thing.

See below: about 20% of all maxillary sinus infections are caused by tooth infections, Basically, basically tooth and gum abscesses of the upper back teeth can eat through the bone and invade the maxillary sinus. Mucositis is also a possibility. Please see a dentist asap.

can a one have sinus prob that do not show on ct scan? my ears pop, strange fullness on rt side of face and head. runny nose, watering eye headache. ?

Rule out allergy: A CAT scan of the sinuses is the most specific technique of identifying true sinus inflammation.  The symptoms you express are consistent with upper respiratory tract allergy.  Try OTC antihistamines such as Claritin (loratadine) or Allegra for some relief and if you do not see any improvement, consult an allergist.

i have a sore mouth and throat and swallowing is painful. my soft and hard palates are completely white, and my uvula is patchy and pulling to one side. my tonsils are swollen and i have a sinus headache. what is the likely cause?

: It's an infection of some sort, could be an upper respiratory bacterial or viral infection. If bacterial, antibiotics would be helpful. Your physician should be able to accurately diagnose your issue upon examination and prescribe the appropriate medications if indicated.

Neuralgia: Such sharp,jabbing pains in that area are often due to neuralgia which is an irritable superficial nerve. This is more of a nuisance than anything serious and usually resolves without any specific treatment. However if symptoms persist or worsen, see your physician for evaluation.Sinus discomfort usually is more sustained and is over the eyes or cheekbones.

: Covid has produced many long lasting after effects. Yours could be one of them. Check with your PCP or ENT doctor and hopefully so they will find out your problem.

ent doc says i have sinus disease after reading mri, ethomid , maxillary and frontal all affected. she wants maximums therapy before surgery. headache daily everyday for 3 months after a severe headache on my right side in airplane. is this related?
