i was diagnosed with sec. hypogonadism. my endocrinologist doc. gives me treatment with hcg 1 ovitrelle at 10 days. how long it's safe to follow this.

Unclear: Ovitrelle is available in europe and is a long acting form of HCG typically used in women to induce fertility.  In men, it can increase testosterone production from the testicles, but it will not cure your problem if you have secondary hypogonadism, as this is a problem in the pituitary or hypothalamus.  Unfortunately, the longer you use it, the more dependent your body will become on it.

Better w other meds: Hypogonadism means the gonads are not making hormones  and gametes ( eggs or sperms). Primay hypogonadism means the gonads have failed. Secondary hypogonadism means the ovary is not working because the brain isnt telling it what to do. We can give  hormones to drive egg production--usually we need fsh to  make the eggs( or sperm). Hcg helps w hormone production. Its best to use both drugs together.

: First the cause of your problem needs investigation. Depending on that a treatment will be tailored specifically  to get you better. So instead of trying to treat yourself pl see an endocrinologist or Urologist. Good luck

Yes. No.: While it is not an fda-approved method, nor one that is widely known, reproductive endocrinologists have used off-label HCG to stimulate testes to produce more t & sperm. Many peer-reviewed studies have been published in medical journals supporting this use. Yes, there is negative feedback at the pituitary resulting in low lh/fsh but exogenous t would do the same. Clomiphene is another off-label.

i recently had orchitis in my left testicle and the size atrophied a pretty decent amount after the infection. i want to bring it back to normal size, i read online hcg is used to stimulate growth in boys with hypogonadism. also, men that shrink testicles

: It would require evaluation to ascertain the cause and treatment depending on the cause.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

"hypogonadism": At age 19, failure to have normal secondary sexual characteristics (genital hair, penile growth, etc.) may be a genetic condition.  Get a referral to an endocrinologist for and exam and testing to determine the exact cause.  Hormone supplementation may be a benefit depending on causality.
