Floaters: Usually floaters are mainly benign and annoying.Usually improve with time. However when present one must be sure the retina is not injured.You must be seen by an ophthalmologist for a retinal exam. Usually when the retina is involved one also notes flashes and maybe some visual change.Exam very important.

Likely benign: I suspect you might have felt a little light headed or faint at the time as well. If that's the case, sitting down or even leaning forward with your head between you knees, and taking some fluids will help. The feeling shortly passes without problem Hope that helps.

Depends - see a doc!: Sudden distortion of vision can be due to many things including migraine, stroke, vitreous or retinal problems.  The only way to determine which is by seeing an eye doctor for a dilated eye exam.  If you notice any associated symptoms like numbness, tingling, troubles with speech, swallowing, bad headache, you should seek immediate attention.  Otherwise, see an eye doctor!

Floater: This is a vitreous floater. Vitreous is a gel in the middle of the eye and tends to liquify and some small areas remain solid and float around in the liquid. This usually is benign. If light streaks or visual loss occur you most see an ophthalmologist to have a retinal exam.

Depends. : This depends on many factors.  The size of the visual field test, how wide an area was it measuring.  It also depends on how stable the change is-  is it new or has it been like this for many years.   Also how severe the changes are- the sensitivity is expressed in "decibels". Small changes are ok unless they exceed what you would expect for that sight tested based on past tests.  Talk to your md.

See specialist : You need an eye exam to check color vision, spectral domain optical coherence tomography, dilated eye exam and possibly a fundus flourescein angiogram. A retinal specialist should evaluate your eyes. Although a very low risk, hydroxychloriquine can cause retinal toxicity which can be irreversible. The first thing is to stop the medication until your eyes have been evaluated. Good luck.

Definitely get exam: This could be anything from a visual migraine to a tia.  The fact that the gray area is in a quadrant does suggest a possible cerebral problem (visual pathways in the brain rather than from the eye itself), but a direct problem in the eye is still possible. An eye exam by an ophthalmologist and possibly a visual field test will help to determine the cause.
