Many possible causes: A sudden change or reduction in vision is an urgent problem which should be promptly evaluated by an eye md. There are a number of possible causes, from macular degeneration, other retinal conditions, blood vessel problems, optic nerve conditions, or even simple "floaters" which can cause this symptom. Have it checked promptly.
