Don't do it: I've been around gyms most of my adult life. I've never known an ordinary guy who's tried steroids and not been sorry. If you want to look grotesque, that's your business, but simply to look good and feel good, steroids are a mistake. For starters, any possible partner who feels your shrunken testicles will know your a cheater and lawbreaker. Natural is far better.

Natural is better: These really do affect your mind. You may do something impulsively and without thinking that you will regret horribly for the rest of your life. Beyond this, it's illegal, it's cheating, it will shrink your testicles (it'll be obvious), and it's generally heart-unhealthy. Most women prefer a natural-looking man who's defined and is a gentleman. It's your choice today but I hope you go 'natural.'

months ago derm told me that it would be good if i use proscutan cream (d-vitam supplemented cream) for psoriasis. now, he told me not to start using it and use diprosal instead. as i searched, diprosal is steroid. so, it is stronger than proscutan?

: Yes, steroid cream or ointment is used to treat psoriasis, not vitamin D cream.

how bad is it to use one or two cycles of steroids?

Accepted Answer

Steroids: This would depend on the specific steroid and the doses used within the cycle.  A single tapering cycle of Prednisone or Medrol (methylprednisolone) is normally is not a problem.  I have not seen consecutive taper cycles, but if spaced out appropriately, the second cycle should be no more problematic than the first.  As you no doubt know, steroids should be avoided if possible for chronic therapy.

Depends: Low strength topical steroids can be used for a few weeks without too many side effects.  Prolonged use can lead to irreversible changes. Use for shortest possible time to minimize risks

Steroids: concern?: Corticosteriods are a natural constant part of the body's own hormone, stress and recovery management.  When used in some medical scenarios, - asthma, skin conditions, lupus, other rheumatoid and inflammation based conditions, -- they strengthen the body and promote recovery. They are key players in the body's stress adaptation, for good or bad.  They must be carefully used and carefully stopped.
