PRP unproven: Prp has been used for tendonitis in the elbow but has not been studied in hip muscles.  It will not aid in the repair of complete tendon tears, but may aid in the resolution of tendonitis around the hip.  If you have a complete tendon tear, you need surgery to repair the ruptured tendons.  It is much more likely to have tendonitis which may respond to prp.  I would try pt and nsaids before prp.

Mostly yes: Muscle tears generally heal due to good blood supply. If you have further concerns, discuss with your Ortho surgeon who saw this area at surgery.

: Usually there is a scale of mild-moderate-severe, so moderate is somewhere in the middle. Gluteus minimus is the smaller of your major butt muscles, and tendinopathy just means an injury or dysfunction of that muscle’s tendon.

See an orthopaedist.: That history sounds a bit unusual.  Best to have an orthopaedist take a look to be sure the problem does in fact originate in the g. Medius.  If so, physical therapy would be appropriate as a next step, possibly followed by a one-time cortisone injection if there is no improvement after 6-8 wks of pt.

It should: If pain is persisting you should see an orthopedic specialist because you should be getting better by now.

Can't tell: You need a diagnosis. Rheumatologist might be right (but what is prp?). If there is question about diagnosis, you may need any or all of the following:
1. Hip x-ray
2. Pelvic MRI (musculoskeletal)
3. Emg
4. Blood tests for connective tissue diseases. Acupuncturists, quite often quite capable of relieving pain, are not noted to be diagnosticians. Even if treatment relieves pain, it doesn't diagnose.

Good for you!: Keeping fit is so important now, but easy to overdo it esp if not a habitual exerciser.  Try heat, mild stretching, rolling after exercise. 
Stretch piriformis.  Muscle relaxants might help, but would need formal consult for most of them.  Robaxin maybe in US? Good luck.

Not my regimen!: I would inject your tb, and then put you on a cycling regimen of graduated increasing intensity.  I do not know what pt has to offer bursitis except great medical expense! bicycling is the best sporting activity for gluteal issues, because it does not overload, but increases blood flow immensely, which helps heal sprained/strained muscle.

Second opinion...: I'm curious as to why you have had 3 hip scopes? What is your original diagnosis? If your capsule was left open the you should expect synovial fluid to leak into the soft tissues. If you have had 3 surgeries by the same surgeon and still have problems then I would get another opinion.
