Lymphnodes are typically small and mobile but can get larger and sore if there is infection near-by the area. If it is bothering you, get it checked. Boil can be lanced and may need antibiotic. See below: Neck pain with stiffness usually comes from degenerative changes to the disc or joints.  The pain can commonly refer to the head, shoulders, or even shoulder blade.  If there is a "pinched nerve" in the neck this can also lead to shoulder blade pain.

Get them checked: Swollen lymph nodes can be related to an infection and can be enlarged in certain areas of our body, such as the groin and arm pits normally. They are here to defend the body from infections. But, you should have them checked if it has been a year to rule out other causes of lymph node enlargement. Lymphoma is unlikely in the absence of other systemic symptoms such as fever and weight loss.

Get a doctor to exam: You need to be examined by a doctor to determine the cause of the swollen lymph nodes. This can be done by an ENT doctor or a general physician. If they suspect cancer a biopsy of the lymph node is done to make a proper diagnosis. But swollen lymph glands can also be due to infection in which case an ENT doctor can treat you with antibiotics.

Hard to say.: The only objective detail in your question is the swollen gland in your neck.  The other symptoms of radiating pain could be viral in origin.  The other possibility is tmd.  This problem of muscle hyperactivity in the muscles of mastication can radiate into the shoulders and neck. If the pain in the ear is not associated with hearing loss, then tmd is the most likely possibility.

Lymph node: Glands are an indication of inflammation and swollen gland in neck are quiet common in kids . They could be due to viral infection like runny nose or due to ear infection, throat infection, dandruff and sometimes due to more sinister causes too. Glands secondary to sinister causes usually do not disappear . Might be worthwhile getting child examined by GP.

Someone needs a look: Usually painful swelling in neck is a lymph node responding to an infection, possibly a pimple or sore on the scalp.  You will probably feel better putting a bit of heat on it but don't mess with it too much or it could get worse.  If it doesn't get better after a few days, see someone.

Lymph nodes: enlargement of local lymph nodes may be due to local infection and may get better with the use of antibiotics. please see a physician,  you may have a simple easily treatable problem like local infection
