No: You do dot get them that way. They are passed from infected genital skin on one person  to uninfected genital skin of another person.

using efudex 5% for genital warts (penis shaft) once every 10 days for 10wks. i put efudex on then apply small piece of plastic over area w/ bandaid overnight. bad or good idea? dr., what is your opinion on proper application & use of efudex for hpv.

Genital wart Rx: Efudex (fluorouracil) is not a normally recommended treatment for genital warts. It often would work, but other treatments often are preferred. Occlusive treatmetn will increase side effects. Whatever treatment is used, if it doesn't work after 3-4 weeks,, another should be tried. See a doctor to reconfirm the diagnosis and advice different treatment. Several others are available. Good luck!

i have a soft skin growth on my shaft. it was there since i hurt my penis with apple cider vinegar it was bleeding. but i think it looks more raised now. a scar or genital warts. there is similar growth on my body. also pimples on body and scrotum..?

Genital warts: This is highly variable. Some men are obsessed with their penises and notice very minor variation in color, skin irregularites, etc. They obviously would notice warts. Others don't care so much and warts might become quite advanced before being noticed. Neither of these behaviors is abnormal.
