Gastritis: Gastritis typically does not cause hunger. In fact it usually causes the opposite:
●Pain in the upper belly
●Feeling bloated, or feeling full after eating a small amount of food
●Decreased appetite
●Nausea or vomiting
●Vomiting blood, or having black-colored bowel movements 
●Feeling more tired than usual – This happens if people with gastritis get a condition called “anemia.

Explain: Unsure what the question is but illegal drugs cannot be used by train drivers and neither can medications that may cause drowsiness, change in sensorium or  changes in your mental capability in any way be used.  Anything or condition  that will disturb the ability to safely handle the safe operation of the train should be discussed with the certifying doctor.

how do i stimulate my appetite. i have gastritis and haven't the desire to eat as i have no appetite. i have been drinking fluids though.

Poor appetitie: See your doc to rule out/identify medical conditions. Drink a glass of lemon water about 1/2 hour before a meal to stimulate gastric juices and appetite.  Are you under a great deal of stress or worrying about something?  If so, consider consulting w/a mental health professional or trusted friend to help you sort things out and cope. Have her see doctor: Just make sure w/a doctor's exam. Make sure you go w/her & tell the doc your concerns. Otherwise, she may go in to the exam & tell the doc everything is ok. If nothing is wrong, you might try giving her some of her favorite foods.

Need endoscopy asap!: You need to see a specialist as soon as possible and have endoscopy to see why you are in so much pain despite taking esomeprazole(Nexium) twice a day. You may have a penetrating ulcer or some other serious disorder. Please don't waste too much time looking for answers on the internet at this point, you need to be examined. Growing stomach: A rumbling or growling stomach is due to muscular contractions of the intestinal wall called peristalsis.  Though seldom of medical importance it can be a symptom of diarrhea and increased liquid and gas in the intestines.  Diseases associated with malabsorption and partial mechanical obstruction can also cause it.  If you have pain or increase gas get worked up.

Endoscopy useful: Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach and usually heals after 3 months of proper diet and prilosec. The iron pills may be causing a lack of appetite and if you're no longer anemic, try stopping the iron. You also may need Prilosec twice a day. Ensure helps    getting needed calories.A gastroscope examination would be advisable if these measure don't improve your symptoms.

Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain is a very common complaint among children of all ages.  Gastritis can cause abdominal pain. If she is feeling acid come up, having vomit tasting burps then acid reflux is a potential.  There are many more questions to ask about the pain and timing of the pain to figure out the proper treatment.  Also make sure that there aren't stressors that could be contributing to her pain.

See your doctor: There are a great many possibilities for an older person, ranging from a gastric ulcer to an h. Pylori infection to gastroesophageal reflux to cancer.  Don't delay seeing your doctor for a proper evaluation and treatment.
