Special circumstance: For someone in your condition, it is best to eat small, frequent meals throughout the day to ensure you receive nutrition throughout the day.  This will allow you to receive the nutrients throughout the day without feeling nauseated or heavy.  This will prevent the heartburn if you eat something every 3-4 hours throughout the day until the ulcers heal.

Have you taken antibiotics for the h.Pylori?

True: The pathology would have ruled out more serious conditions such as celiac disease, Helicobacter infection or Barrett's esophagus, so your doctor is correct.

No test  is perfect: Sometimes mucosal pits or dents can look like erosions, and on stomach biopsy prove normal. Sometimes, tiny gastric lesions are targeted for biopsy, but surrounding unaffected tissue is obtained instead. Your doctor may be suspicious of erosive disease & will be gratified if you respond to his empiric treatment of it. Certainly express your concerns to the treating physician if still symptomatic.

Many causes: Even though nsaids and h pylori are common causes of gastric erosions, there are many other causes: stress, alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, tumors (gastrinomas), certain foods, ibd, and other medications.  Talk with the doctor who performed your endoscopy.

i just recently had a egd procedure done ,and i was found to have the following..gastritis; reflux esophagitis with spasm; stage b, gastric ulcer,duodenum erosions...also had barium swallow.why does it feel like i have to burp always and i cant do it?

Esophageal spasm: It is likely that the esophageal spasm gives you the sensation of incomplete burping. You have significant structural and functional abnormalities if the upper gi tract and tight followup with your gastroenterologist will be critical going forward.

Several options!: Trial of sulfasalazine 500 x 4. Or combo or solo ciprofloxin and/or Metronidazole 500mg bid!

Capsule endoscopy is: For small bowel evaluation where upper or lower endoscopy can't reach. It may give you information regarding the rest of small bowel. Its usually done to look for small bowel lesions or to find the source of a bleed where egd/colonoscopy is negative. In your case the better test is mr enetrography or a ct abd/pel with volumen contrast. Your GI doc should decide on further testing.

is scattered antral erosions gastritis or ulcers? been on prilosec for 3yrs for reflux. not sure how i got them being medicated. should dr. up my dose

"Erosions": usually refer to gastritis rather than ulcerations...As far as the development of this in the face of PRILOSEC therapy I would ask your treating GI Doc about possible H PYLORI  INFECTION.....
