what can i do for extreme gas pain in upper back, chest, and shoulders?

Maybe it's not gas: A person with "extreme gas pain" in the upper back and chest may have something other than gas. If it is gas, then taking an over-the-counter antacid/anti-gas medication should help quickly. But what if it is a heart attack or an aneurysm of the aorta? Those can be fatal, so a person with such symptoms should see his doctor or get checked at the emergency room right away.

in er twice for gas pain in chest, upper left side. sometimes also right sided & behind sternum. also hurts between shoulder blades sometimes. ct was normal & labs normal. put on prilosec but doesn't help with bloating and gas build up. gallbladder?

: Gallbladder may contribute to your symptoms among many other possibilities. However it will be highly unusual for gallbladder to cause left upper chest pain and follow up with your primary care doc or gastroenterologist would be best in completing a meaningful workup. Musculoskeletal or vascular sources for the pain are relatively common, difficult to diagnose otherwise.

Non likely: Pins and needles feeling is called "paresthesia" and is a sign of peripheral neuritis. It can be positional in which case it would come and go. Paresthesia and pain in that distribution, which follows the path of a nerve root (called a dermatome), suggests impingement in the cervical spine - often due to disk herniation or trauma in your age group (26).  Also consider a brachial plexus injury.

3 months after c-section relly bad gas pain in chest and back and dizziness is this normal? how long do it take to totally recover to normal?

You should already: Be recovered, could be from your other medical problems please call your pcp as u need a workup for these problems which may not be related to the c-section.

Acute Gastritis?: GERD can cause nausea, Heartburn . Rx Pepcid (famotidine)  or Omeprazole like drug .
If these symptoms are new and happening after you eat certain type of food; you should avoid them and take the GERD medicine regularly.
 If you smoke, or has any risk factor for heart disease ( like FHx of Heart attack, High BP, High Cholesterol) then "Gas pain, Nausea" should not be taken lightly.Get examined.

Careful chewing: After having esophageal or gastric surgery it is always important to fully chew your food.  Gas from seafood sounds rare.  You would not expect GERD from air being trapped.  However if you ate quickly and swallowed a lot of air you might feel the pain as you noted.

Yes, depending on wh: Depending on which ligament is torn, it may absolutely cause chest pain. Torn ligaments &amp; tendons cause misalignment of bones, &amp; therefore muscle strain/tear. If the ligament is the acromioclavicular ligament, for example, it is often accompanied by strain on pectoralis tendon that holds up the arm.
