Yes: In all cases if the tubes are removed the end leading to the uterus is either stitched shut or sealed with a cautery or other energy device.  In all instances the ends are sealed one way or another

Accepted Answer

Yes and yes: An IUD can embed itself into the uterine wall or even be expelled. The risk is minimal for both. Tubal ligations can re-canalize by forming an alternate path around the obstruction. That is why we quote a failure rate for tubal ligations depending upon the method used.

Not really: Some pregnant patients will mistake gas pain for contractions but gas would not actually trigger contractions. From your previous questions I remember that you have a short cervix, a cerclage and are at risk for preterm labor. If you think you might be contracting you need to be evaluated on labor and delivery now.

Check for Pregnancy: Tubal ligation is not 100%.  The failure rate depends on the surgical technique and is estimated at probability of 2.5 per 1,000 .  Patients who are late for their cycle should have a pregnancy test. It depends: Uterine fibroids are common as women get older and get near/past menopause. Most of them cause no symptoms , so they can be left alone. If the fibroids cause significant pain or very heavy menses, then they require treatment. The treatment can be in the form of hysterectomy (Removal of uterus) or some alternative local (new) treatments like vascular emblization. Good luck

Likely adenomyosis: Pockets of normal endometrial cells can become embedded in the muscle  wall of the uterus causing swelling of uterus, pain and heavier bleeding.

This a variation of endometriosis,  formerly called internal endometriosis.

: There may be a "kink" or constriction of the intestines post surgery from developing scar tissue( adhesion) or a suture. Contact your C/section surgeon for further assessment.

: This post does not provide adequate information for a response. What x-ray? The common abdominal x-ray often reveals no such finding. The x-ray that would verify normal tubes would be a dye study where contrast media is pushed through the tubes from the uterus.

GYN evaluation: You will need a pap and pelvic examination by your private gyn and perhaps medication to regulate your menstrual cycle.You may also need a pelvic ultrasound to ascertain the integrity of the uterine lining.
