A member asked:

What is the risk of an iud implanting into your uterus? can a tubal reverse itself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and yes: An IUD can embed itself into the uterine wall or even be expelled. The risk is minimal for both. Tubal ligations can re-canalize by forming an alternate path around the obstruction. That is why we quote a failure rate for tubal ligations depending upon the method used.
