how do i reduce the problems of a gallbladder acting up? i need relief of the gas, pain, and nausea associated with this condition. can anyone please help?

Avoid: Fatty, large, heavy meals.  Some people have difficult with dairy products.  But definitive cure is cholecystectomy.  With laparoscopy, it is at most an overnight procedure with minimal pain, scarring, and disability.  You should go for this before complications occur.

nausea vomit everyday 16 months. had every test done. gallbladder removed no relief. what could be the problem? my doctor can't seem to figure it out.

Many things: Nausea is an extremely common complaint and may be indicative of many diseases.  It sounds as if you have had a full workup without any answer?  Smoking marijuana may sometimes cause nausea.  There is also an entity termed 'cyclic vomiting syndrome" that basically means you are nauseous without a specific cause.  Talk to your doctor for a further evaluation.

my last gallbladder attack was sunday 11pm since then i've had pain. very tender to touch. no fever a bit of nausea.  pain relief in certain positions?

Cholecystitis: Typically right upper abdominal pain as you described would be evaluated with liver lab tests and an ultrasound. I recommend semi-urgent/urgent medical evaluation, especially if you know you have gallstones. If cholecystitis is diagnosed, surgery would likely be recommended. There are other causes which can often be diagnosed with few tests.

extreme gas & trapped under right ribs for 4 days (stabbing feeling when breathing in) extreme constipation, used many meds & only little relief from enema. pain in shoulder blades. had gallbladder removed 2 years ago. no vomiting. barely any nausea?

: To alleviate constipation : You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Nonspecific symptom: Nausea is one of those non-specific complaints that need to be viewed in the context of other symptoms & signs. Nausea may derived from the brain (concussion, brain contusion, subdural hematoma, life-threatening bleed, tumor, seizure), any part of the gut (stomach ulcer, gastroparesis, outlet delay or blockage, infection, etc.), the kidneys/ bladder, the female organs...You get the point. Yes it can: Gallbladder disease, which usually means stones or sludge can make you nauseous and is often associated with pain on the right upper abdomen. The discomfort is often episodic and associated with meals and particularly fatty foods although some people experience a chronic nausea. An ultrasound is the standard test for diagnosing this problem. Your primary can order this test for you.

Up to 2 weeks: In general, after your gallbladder is removed it may take as long as two weeks for things to get back to normal.  You should also make sure that any pain medicine you take is not the culprit for your nausea as narcotics can also cause nausea.

i have been having dizziness and nausea for 24 hours now. i have a gallbladder that is coming out wednesday but this is scaring me. ?

Vertigo?: On first read, the combination of dizziness (room spinning sensation, not lightheadedness) and nausea could be vertigo or labyrinthitis, the latter being due to an infection or inflammation within the inner ear that disrupts the balance mechanism therein.  If you're due for surgery, you may want the doctor to comment on this.  Shouldn't affect the surgery, but may worsen still thereafter.
