Only if U want-: -a good knee. Some relatively inactive people may opt not 2 have it reconstructed. But in someone as young as U needs  good functioning knee. It will deter degenerative disease later in life .

Yes: It is highly unlikely you would be able to continue any substantial athletic activity with an "ACL deficient" knee.  The ACL is one of the primary stabilizers of the knee joint.

No it will not heal: The acl when get torn, dose not healed by itself and need to be reconstructed, because of the nature of the blood supply of this ligament.

Poss surgery: The  bucket handle tear of the meniscus will likely cause you problems - should probably be dealt with via arthroscopic approach.   The ACL tear can wait - do PT and make a decision later if you want to have an ACL reconstruction done.  Not everyone needs ACL repair - talk to your doctor about the pros and cons.

Another opinion: This would be extremely rare in terms of an ACL injury. ACL tears rarely "heal" themselves. In the absence of ACL reconstruction or some type of regenerative injection, an ACL tear should still be present on the 2nd MRI. It is possible that a meniscal tear has developed since the 1st MRI, especially if the ACL is not functioning. Obtain another ortho and/or radiologist opinion to get clarification

Acl tear: best option is surgery especially if u are an athlete. Older non athletic people sometimes treat with bracing. I don't recommend this for you. Good luck

ACL surgery?: Depends on your situation.  Most young, athletic, and otherwise healthy patients can benefit from acl reconstruction.  If you are a high level or elite athlete,  you may certainly benefit from acl repair.  However, if you are in poor health and not physically active, surgery may not be the best option. Consulting with a qualified and experienced orthopedic surgeon should be your 1st step.
