Too late!: Sorry to give you disappointing news, but it is rare to grow after age 16-18, in fact most girls stop growing around age 14. Bone growth is caused by "growth plates" and once the growth plates close (usually 2-3 years after puberty) the bones are unable to grow. You need to accept your current height. However, calcium & d will improve bone density, esp. If you take with vit. K.

Which Vitamin D?: There are two major forms of vitamin d that are routinely measured, 25 hydroxyvitamin d and 1, 25 dihydroxyvitamin d. I have seen many cases where the former is low and the latter is high. This can be caused by excessive immune system stress on activated macrophages. Get both levels checked before concluding you are low.

Need anemia DX: Low Hgb can be caused by low Fe but there are other causes: genetic like thalassemia or sickle cell, illnesses that cause abnormal destruction of the red cells, Vit B12 defic, &amp; anemia of chronic illness.  Ferritin levels range from 12 to 150, so although yours is in the normal range, additional iron would be good if rest of CBC       is Nl.  Expect response in 3-4 wks.  If not, get further eval

i noticed that my bp is lower (120/70) in the summer, but higher (140-150/90) in the winter. is that normal? i also have anxiety having my bp taken. maybe vit. d levels lower in winter?? no other changes. blood work all good.

Varies with exercise, diet, age etc.
Low is less than 90 and symptomatic 
High is greater than 150 systolic and 90 diastolic on a regular basis.
