Change in bite: Your orthodontic appliance have started changing your bite, so that might be the culprit. Could even be referred pain. Then again, without an exam, radiographs, or even knowing your age, it is impossible to tell for sure over the internet. You should ask your orthodontist.

Swelling: If teeth are not flossed daily as space between teeth is closed gums will swell.  Couple this with the irritation from your deep overbite and you have an addressable problem that can be very annoying.  Please see the General Dentist or specialist Orthodontist that is treating you for adjustment to your braces and your Oral Hygiene that will give you relief.

Orthodontist: Please speak to your orthodontist. As discussed in my prior answer to a similar post you made, since there is less space between your teeth, the gum tissue has been compressed in that area. Over time things should be fine. Great oral hygiene will help.

Surgery: The non-surgical solution to crooked teeth is orthodontic tooth movement.  The non-orthodontic solution is to reshape the crooked teeth, putting "straight" restorations onto the crooked roots.  Know that if 2 teeth are out of position it's probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Depends: If teeth unevenly positioned the braces will even them out.  If teeth are different sizes restoration(s) may be required.  Sometimes it's a matter of slight gum reshaping.  Ask your orthodontic specialist for advice.

Probably not: If the tooth to come out is crowded out of place now, there is a slim chance that ortho could work.
More likely, you will need an implant or bridge.
Your dentist will know.

Two front teeth: Braces can correct crooked teeth.  But if you think that a tooth is loose you should first see your dentist about that before considering braces.

Sorry: The best way is braces.   Depending on the position of the teeth sometimes crowns or caps can be done.   However, there is no other way to predictably move teeth other than braces.

i had braces as a teen but had an accident and needed them again. i had upper limited braces on the front 6 teeth and now my front teeth feel too close. is it possible that widening the top front 6 teeth made my front two teeth closer?

Accepted Answer

: Without knowing what your dentition looked like before your accident and how it looks now makes it difficult to answer your question in a meaningful way. It is very possible you had very slight spacing before the trauma and now you have none. Your orthodontist can elaborate further using your diagnostic records as a reference.

Ask Orthodontist: Ask your orthodontist why you have the gap and can he\she correct it? Why is there a gap? Were there orthodontic limitations? Did you follow all directions? Did you wear your retainer(s) conscientiously?  It's probably not too late to have it corrected. Find out your options.
