Ask Orthodontist: Ask your orthodontist why you have the gap and can he\she correct it? Why is there a gap? Were there orthodontic limitations? Did you follow all directions? Did you wear your retainer(s) conscientiously? It's probably not too late to have it corrected. Find out your options.

Probably not...: Most spaces can be corrected, but much depends on your occlusion, condition of the teeth, etc. Ask your orthodontist for treatment options.

It's never too late: Why is there a gap? Tooth size discrepancy? Swollen gums? Tooth shape? Excess tissue tag? Not wearing retainers as prescribed?Many other reasons. See your orthodontic specialist asap for reevaluation.

Sometimes : A small space can result post ortho due to tooth size : skeletal discrepancy - usually a simple fix with composite binding or veneers. Consult with your dentist. Hope this helps.
