Could be: That is one of the signs of diabetes. There are other things can cause it so you need to have a blood test to determine if you have diabetes.

aged 64,my bp is generally 110/65 & bpm 60 at rest.1-2 hours after i wake up in the morning bpm goes up to110.it takes 1-2 hours to normalise. daytime,i drink lot of water.i get up 2-3 times at night to urinate. is palpitation related to dehydration?

: Sometimes palpitations are related to dehydration due to the body trying to increase blood pressure by releasing adrenaline; this can cause palpitations.  It sounds like you are maintaining good hydration, so, dehydration sounds less likely as a cause. A 24 hour Holter monitor likely would provide an answer regarding what kind of fast heart rate is occurring.

is a cystoscope and prostate ultrasound routine to examine bladder/prostate for problems with nighttime urination and daytime weak flow ? i have bph but normal psa. have had digital exam yearly ?

: You do not need to drink after the dinner if you are not thirsty. If you drink at night you will have to wake up for the bathroom trip. 
Thirsty is the earliest symptom you will feel if you are dehydrated and too many bathroom trips are the symptom of overhydration.

for 2 weeks i've had heart palpitations lasting 10-14 hours, almost every night, sometimes daytime. cardiologist ordered a 24 hour metanephrines urine test. my normetanephrines are 834 and metanephrines total is 993. could wellbutrin be a cause?

Many possibilities.: Trouble with urination can be grouped into disorders of the bladder's ability to expel urine or obstruction of the outflow tract. Bladder problems include muscular disorders, diverticuli, diabetes, & neurologic problems. The most common cause of obstruction in men is an enlarged prostate, but strictures and blockage by stones can occur. If you're having difficulty, i recommend you see a urologist.
