Tendinitis: The anterior tibialis muscle is located on the front (anterior) leg, and its tendon will lift the toes/foot during walking. Tendons attach muscle to bones, and itis means inflammation. You would expect pain across the anterior ankle and top,of the foot. Topicals like Voltaren gel are anti inflammatory, lidocaine gel is desensitizing, Ben gay is pain masking. Boots may be used to ‘rest’ the tendon

possible...: Tendonitis implies inflammation/irritation of the tendons - in this case, the extensor ones on the top of the foot.  When they become inflamed, they swell and in turn can compress the cutaneous nerves that are on the top (dorsal) aspect of the foot and can conceivably cause tingling.

Don't worry: Sometimes if there is irregularity of the surface of the tendon membrane it may not glide smoothly through its surrounding sheath. These vibrations result in the sound you can hear and feel called "crepitus". Painless crepitus is a common phenomenon that just about everybody will experience in life. If there are no signs of pain, redness or warmth it will not be harmful.  Maybe annoying at worst .

Yes: If it is truly extensor tendonitis then it is not necessarily an emergency. However, if you can't get in for 2 weeks and it really hurts go in to ER . It can be a tear also which is more of an urgent situation. No matter what be seen ASAP.

Stretch: Stay on the NSAIDs, cross train for a while and make sure the shoes you use to run are the best ones for your feet- check with a running expert- wrong shoes can cause painful problems

Usually, tendons get inflamed if they are being overused in trying to compensate for a particular bio mechanical deformity. I would suggest that you visit a podiatrist who specializes in gait analysis to address the issue.

Foot pain: It could be tendonitis. Other possibilities include a stress fracture or strained ligament. Treatment at this time would be rest, cold applications, elevation of foot while sitting, loose fitting shoes but ones that give ample support, and, if you can take them, anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen. See a podiatrist for evaluation and treatment if no significant improvement.

" super 7" : The 'super 7 ' wrist and forearm exersises are generally the most reccommended for elbow tendinitis. I would reccommend seeing a physical therapist who can instruct you in how to do these... Or you can " look them up" on the internet.Best of luck!

Rest: It depends on which side of the arm.  On the top (dorsal) stretch by bending the hand and wrist downwards and work on gentle wrist extension exercises with a very light wt like a can of soup.  For the bottom (volar) do the exact opposite for stretching and strengthening.  Don't forget nsaid's as well. Use ice initially, and then switch to warm moist heat after a few days if still symptomatic.
