possible...: Tendonitis implies inflammation/irritation of the tendons - in this case, the extensor ones on the top of the foot. When they become inflamed, they swell and in turn can compress the cutaneous nerves that are on the top (dorsal) aspect of the foot and can conceivably cause tingling.
