Need eye exam: Did you have a vitreous detachment or even a partial retinal detachment?  Have you seen an ophthalmologist?

Retinal Detachment: Retinal tears may be non-symptomatic or have the three signs of retinal detachment, lightning flashes, shower of black spots and field loss or curtain in field of vision which are retinal detachment signs.
You can have retinal detachment and retinal tears without symptoms, however, most of these symptoms are associated with retinal detachment.

i had argon laser session to treat a hole in my retina last week, what can i do and not to do?
i cried today, is it safe? is it safe to go to work? i am a phlebotomist, will i continue to see flashes and floaters?

Okay to work: Repairing the retina should prevent flashes and new floaters, Old floaters will likely remain. If your vision is okay and you feel well, it is okay to return to work.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
Get HPV vaccine.

No substance : Can prevent  a retinal detachment. You need to treat the underlying cause diabetic retinopathy for example. I have had patients who have taken homeopathic remedies for floaters , but guess what! , on exam they were still present.

Flashes floater veil: Vitreous separation & traction on the retina causes retinal tears-causing vitreous floaters & flashes.  It is painless.  If you have pain this could be due to inflammation in your eyes. This is called uveitis.  Uveitis can cause the vitreous to pull and cause these symptoms as well.  You need a dilated retinal examination.

Migraine: Transient visual changes sometimes associated with jagged scintillating lights are very common associates of migraine headaches.  This is very common and sounds like what you have. Don't be surprised if you get one or more of these in the future as they tend to recur. Usually they are completely benign.

Not enough info: What are the "lesions"?   they could be old scars from a very benign process  Did the floaters and flashes go away?  Did you have a dilated retinal examination?

: Floaters are stingly, cobweb like elements that are in your field of vision and move around. Flashes are flashes of light and are transient. Flashes are more of a cause for concern.
