Retinal Detachment: Retinal tears may be non-symptomatic or have the three signs of retinal detachment, lightning flashes, shower of black spots and field loss or curtain in field of vision which are retinal detachment signs. You can have retinal detachment and retinal tears without symptoms, however, most of these symptoms are associated with retinal detachment. See retinal specialist ophthalmologist for exam.
