Flashes and floaters, plus light sensitivity and pain in both eyes. the oculist only diagnosed myopia. is this normal?

Flashes floater veil: Vitreous separation & traction on the retina causes retinal tears-causing vitreous floaters & flashes. It is painless. If you have pain this could be due to inflammation in your eyes. This is called uveitis. Uveitis can cause the vitreous to pull and cause these symptoms as well. You need a dilated retinal examination.

Not myopia: Your symptoms sound like inflammation in the eye, or possibly a vitreous detachment. An oculist is not qualified to diagnose or treat...Please see an eye doctor, md or do.
