No if you feel fine : That is fine. Just self monitor for delayed symptoms.  You can have a concussion with or without loss of consciousness. Possible symptoms include: headache/ pressure of head, inability to recall what happened,  dizziness, decreased coordination, ringing in the ears, confusion, slurred speech, nausea or vomiting & extreme fatigue. If you believe you have a concussion please seek  medical care. Seek.

Need to se MD: You had a head trauma and few days later you feel heavyness in head.You need to be evaluated by your doctor and may need a cat scan to rule out a subdural hematoma from a slow bleed in the subdural space.

Stay calm: An ice pack to the area will help with the swelling. Take over the counter paracetamol for the pain. If you start to vomit then go see a doctor. Otherwise it will be better in a day or two.

See below: After three days, I doubt there's any bleeding.  You would probably have known by now.  Did you lose consciousness with the injury?  Were there any other injuries?  If no, and you're 21, I suspect things will be fine.  If you start having worsening headaches, visual disturbances, dizziness, then be seen.

Forget alternative: This is a one year old. If something happened as that injury, and there are symptoms, for precaution, do not look for alternative causes of the symptoms. Go to your pediatrician, be evaluated, then you can find out the reason. Always point to the most possible cause as the cause, until proven otherwise.

i have a hard knot on bottom left side of skull & haven't hit head, it's gotten bigger since i noticed it about 2 wks ago & isnt painful what is it?

Hard to say: Hard to say w/o feeling and seeing it. Could be the mastoid, a normal bump behind the earlobe. Might be you never noticed it before. If it's growing, probably a lymph node and should go down in a few days to weeks. If continues to grow or becomes painful, see a doctor. Probably a benign thing (nothing to worry about).

hit head a couple of hours ago. didnt hurt bad at the time but now my neck hurts. if i broke it would the pain be intense. i didn't hit my head hard.

Head: Held up by neck. Head is hard, but internal superficial bleed  possible. Neck blunt or crashing injury can  strain spinal cord or exiting nerves. Always serious injury, recommend go be evaluated.

Symptoms of a concussion can include: headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, blurred vision, slurred speech, weakness, feeling dazed, numbness, lack of coordination, problems with short term memory, dizziness as well as repeating things over and over.  You can develop a concussion with or without loss of consciousness. It would be prudent to be medically evaluated.

See below: If see a large bruise of bump, especially over the back or side of head, child has vomiting, or lost consciousness, is inconsolable of unresponsive ( lethargic), is wobbly on feet, has clear drainage from nose or ears, or just doesn't look right to you, - get seen asap.
