Stay calm: An ice pack to the area will help with the swelling. Take over the counter paracetamol for the pain. If you start to vomit then go see a doctor. Otherwise it will be better in a day or two.

APPLY ICE: if you did not loose consciousness the severe pains should subside...nonetheless obtain some medical advice and a hands on exam...we are recognizing CONCUSSION is an often UNDIAGNOSED condition and requires monitoring.... Hope this is helpful Dr Z
