Neuropathy: Your mom has peripheral neuropathy. There are a plethora of possible causes but the most common is diabetes which may or may not have been previously diagnosed.  She needs a full evaluation with her doctor.

Would need : To see you and them together to give you a good reason. Sincei can't see them - in general, people with swollen legs or flatfeet often have these complaints...So look to see if either fit your profile. 
In any event, i'd recommend a trip to the doctor.

: You should consider getting some orthotics (arch supports) for your shoes.  But they are NOT all created equal-stay away from the drug store versions.  DO NOT go to the GOOD FEET STORE-THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF for very cheap and inneffective devices.  If a good pair of orthotics does not help your situation after about a month of consistent use, see a Podiatrist for further evaluation

As long as: You are able to walk ok, and in the absence of a chronic disease, you are likely ok.   Get seen if it worsens but at age 23 you are at low probability for a disease of the cardiovascular system.  Good luck.

Burning feet: Neuropathy ( damage to nerve ending) can cause burning sensation of feet , damage to the peroneal nerve can cause foot drop or sensation of heavyness when lifting the foot.

Diabetes?: You are describing an early peripheral neuritis; a deterioration of the nerve insulation.  It most often is an early sign of diabetes so check your urine and blood.  If it gets annoyingly worse we have a few meds that can help. Too much alcohol and lead poisoning are other possibilities.

Joint pain: Pain in hands and feet with swelling  that gets worse with exercise needs to be evaluated for various causes to include inflammatory joint disease, thyroid disorders etc . Time to follow up with your doctor.

See Your MD: Sorry to hear that you have experienced such a rough day. From your description it sounds like your gad remains symptomatic. I don't know if you have contacted your primary care physician or psychiatrist, but would strongly recommend that you make contact as soon as possible. I would also defer the issue with your veins to your current doctor. Good luck and i truely hope you have better days.

Heavy feet: Are  they swollen? Could be due to varicose veins, swelling for excess fluid due to  venous insufficiency or a liver or heart issue. May also be due to sciatica or other abdominal issue like ovarian mass. Would follow up with for through evaluation.

Probably nothing: Unless there is a true weakness it is probably nothing physical. Have a doctor evaluate the issue and you will know for certain.
