i have had left hip replacement 12years ago, have arthritis in left knee. i am having pain at the back of left knee, thigh and buttocks can you help?

Many possibilities: There are so many possibilities here that i really cannot help with a diagnosis but what i would suggest is a good physical examination by a musculoskeletal speclalist. This would either be an orthopedist or a physiatrist (specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation). Probably some of the pain is coming from the knee but there are other potential sites as well.

Tingling: It is possible you have sciatica, compression of the sacral nerve and worse when sitting because your compressing the nerve. If you keep on having this you should get a MRI spine of the lumbar region to evaluate if this is the case.

Leg pain: How long has this been occurring ? Do you have nite time pain ? Any tingling or numbness? Any history of trauma ? You need to get in to see another opinion if your problem remains unsolved

: Could be injury to the hamstring, or could be muscle/soft tissue pain from structures nearby.  Sometimes pain can refer to that area from the back or by a nerve.  If it only occurs when sitting, perhaps it is being compressed? any other symptoms or any other activities irritate it?

Knee vibration: This is fairly common in people your age.  It is probably due to mild muscle/nerve trauma causing the muscle fibers to contract and relax quickly.  It should go away in a day or so.  We call it a fasciculation. 
Some times it progresses to a cramp.  
You should do mild exercise and stretching until it improves.

Sciatic pain can be associated with disc disease, radicular pain or irritation of nerve roots at exit from back or pain created by spasm of pyriformis muscle. Likewise knee pain can be associated with referred pain to low back. Modifiable risk factors include maintaining ideal body weight. BMI greater than 27 associated with back pain and knee pain.
