Q: the back of my left knee (hemstrings) hurt when i sit. what could be the problem?

: Could be injury to the hamstring, or could be muscle/soft tissue pain from structures nearby. Sometimes pain can refer to that area from the back or by a nerve. If it only occurs when sitting, perhaps it is being compressed? any other symptoms or any other activities irritate it?
