Sciatic pain can be associated with disc disease, radicular pain or irritation of nerve roots at exit from back or pain created by spasm of pyriformis muscle. Likewise knee pain can be associated with referred pain to low back. Modifiable risk factors include maintaining ideal body weight. BMI greater than 27 associated with back pain and knee pain.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If your are overweight, losing weight will help. Regular exercise may be helpful too. It would be prudent to see your doctor. Wish you good health!
