Abnormal LFTs: there's NAFLD (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease) which is just fat in the liver, and more of it than usual - and NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) which is when that fat gets inflamed.  the latter if not controlled, can lead to cirrhosis over time. Signs are typically elevated ALT (more so than AST) and increased echogenicity on ultrasounds.  often associated with 'metabolic syndrome'.

No: Normal blood co2 level is around 24 so 23 is fine.  Fatty liver generally doesn't affect it much unless it is advanced and causing overt liver disease.

Both unlikely: If the hair is thinning rapidly, the most common reason is telogen effluvium, a poorly-understood response to stress. The most important common entity to rule out is hypothyroidism. If the hair loss is dramatic, a dermatology visit is in order. Good luck.

Possible: it is possible, if the liver is enlarged due to excess amount of fat, a person can get dull pain in the upper right abdomen. Other problems should be excluded, and an image of the liver is indicated

: It is very likely the paracetamol was the cause of the abnormal liver tests. A liver specialist will be able to guide you on the meds to avoid in the future. It is good that you don’t have fatty liver. For now, avoid anything with paracetamol in it. Good luck with the liver specialist!!

: Spider nevi from liver disease occur with advanced liver disease not just fatty liver. Cirrhosis is not the only reason to have spider nevi. What you are calling spider nevi often do not have a known cause.

Manage it: This is worrisome and while this doesn't qualify as any kind of cirrhosis, you could end up with it. I trust hepatitis c, Wilson's, and a few others have been ruled out. Stay trim and fit and ask about meds.

Probably not: Cirrhosis is not usually associated with hair loss.Any time there is a rapid reduction in weight or any kind of illness then we can see hair loss increase for several months. This type of hair loss comes back so not to worry. Good luck on your weight loss.

how long does it take to get liver enzymes back to normal from taking any medicine ? had ultrasound was normal , no sign of fatty liver or anything ,so he thinks maybe few excedrine week before blood test? had baby 2.5 months ago and not obese?

: Congratulations on your baby! Usually liver enzymes return to normal within a couple weeks of stopping the medication, if that is the cause. If the enzymes remain elevated your doctor will search for other causes of elevated liver enzymes.

can alt 34 ast 31 (now, lower than 2 years ago) bilirubin 0.36, no signs of fatty liver on ultrasonography exclude cirrhosis? (concern: reddish palms)

No: However, the ultrasound would probably show it up. There need not be a reason for red palms. If you feel well, be glad. You probably should avoid alcohol and you should probably exercise. Best wishes.
